(More customer reviews)I have crazy skin--sensitive, oily and dry all at once. Prone to breakouts and blackheads. A nightmare. This is a lovely cleanser that at once cleans everything off and my skin doesn't get tight and dry afterwards. It even takes off my eye make-up--something my previous sensitive cleanser was unable to do. My face is clearing up and blackheads are faded--the best I can hope for.

I will definitely buy this again.

Perfecting Essence Review

However, first my disclaimer: In the interest of full disclosure, I have to say I joined the Usana team for $[...] as an associate because I was looking for vitamins and I thought I could get credit for buying from myself. Also, (in the interest of full disclosure), from my research, I did not feel comfortable with all business practices but I couldn't find anything negative about the products (except cost).
I received a sample of Sense products and I saw a change overnight when I used the cleanser, toner and Perfecting Essence. I was actually very pleased with the way perfecting essence felt when I put it on. My skin is so oily that I am extra conscience of what products I use after the cleanser. I've tried a lot of products and I have to admit, I usually walk away disappointed. This product was actually absorbed into my skin immediately making it feel hydrated but not creamy or oily or anything. After I put it on it just blended completely into my skin with no residue. I actually went to look up the ingredients. One of the ingredients is a little known product called squalene (or squalane). Great moisturizer that is instantly absorbed into the skin. I researched it and then I actually went to pick some up at a health store. (By the way, a little squalene goes a long way). I also picked up another of its ingredient - shea butter (raw). I like the squalene by itself but I really like the Perfecting Essence blend. I would recommend this product.I can't give it 5 stars because of the upscale department store price tag.

My eyes slightly burns, thought it was just the smog, and my skin feels like it experienced a mild acid burn. Itches with slight redness.Called customer service, her name was April, that was no help. She just repeats what she is trained to read to the customers, aggressivley defending the non reactive properties of this product, 'fifty people (only fifty?)were tested with no reactions, so its completely safe'. She told me you supposed to feel a mild burn. Really? Not open to complaints except to read what she is told to say. The company behind this product has no responsibilty to the public using their products.

Framesi - FramColor Futura Hair Coloring Cream 2 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)I have about a level 4 or 5 for a natural color with some gray coming in, about 20% I'd say. I had been highlighting my hair for many years and it worked well until I started getting these gray hairs that stood up like curly corkscrew fishing line waving at everyone. And talk about coarse! I have normally very fine hair. The highlighting was not helping most of this coarse hair at all. I have alternated over the years getting this professionally done and doing it myself. A hairdresser I had used about 15 years ago used Framesi for my highlights (which level I don't know), but when I was no longer able to use her anymore because I moved, I got some Framesi 9C packages to do my own highlights and then never used them because I started going to a salon again. Having read that doing a whole head color instead of just highlights can calm that gray down, I decided to try it and did strand tests with several other brands available at the general public beauty supply stores. I tried colors from my natural color to very light and they all pulled red and were not attractive at all. Remembering that I had this Framesi I decided to try it and... it was beautiful! So I went on and did my whole head. It is now much lighter than I have ever had before with the highlights with a slight peachy cast under some lights. Some people have commented that it still looks highlighted, but I think that is from the gray hair taking the color a little differently. After I got over the shock of being so blonde I decided that I really like it! And the gray is laying down (almost) like normal hair again. So when it came time to buy more, I got it from my favorite place to buy anything, Amazon.

Touching up the roots is easy. I use 40 clear developer in a 2:1 ratio with some of that red/gold corrector, although I didn't see any difference when I forgot that once. This makes it thin enough that you can put it in a regular touchup bottle and not have to use the brush (put plastic wrap over the part where it screws on when you shake it so as not to get the cream lodged into the nozzle before it is mixed). The suggested ratio is 1:1, but I had lost my instructions and went from memory. In this case it turned out great, although I do recommend that you do a strand test. It can save you from a frightening sight if anything goes wrong! I have been using it now for about 9 months, and it looks good even when touching it up, leaving no line of demarcation. And my hair is in fantastic condition after using it too!

I don't always use the cleanser (though it's good too), but I make sure to use the toner before applying moisturizer (and I only need to use a small amount). Occasionally I use the facial mask at night. I then follow with Aubrey's herbal face spritzer after putting on my mineral makeup.

Goldwell Colorance Demi Color Coloration (Tube) Hair Coloring Products Review

(More customer reviews)First, don't get me wrong, I still like semi-permenant hair dye that washes out gradually in uniform shades and Goldwell Colorance is one of the best.

I am giving this particular one 4 stars because it is losing to its own sister product in the NN shades. The NN shades outlast the N shades by weeks. I have dark hair and loved the 2N black color, but the gray coverage faded after 3 weeks (it is natural that gray hairs do not absorb color well,thus extra color strength is needed) and when I switched to 3NN + intensive developing lotion, currently on 4th week and still okay.

Besides this minor complaint, the color is naturally black, the shine is outstanding, washes out gradually and very evenly, not patchy, easy to apply with a brush and do not irritate my sensitive skin. I will continue with this brand for sure.
