(More customer reviews)The right idea but the price is prohibitive if you want to soak in conditions even remotely approximating the Dead Sea (30% salts). The active ingredient for psoriasis in Dead Sea salt is magnesium (PubMed), which is 50% of the Dead Sea salt composition. If I read Wikipedia correctly, commercial Dead Sea salt, which is derived from the mineral rich mud surrounding the Dead Sea, has only 4.5% magnesium.

You can buy a 50 lb bag of magnesium chloride, which commercially is a milder form of rock salt for de-icing, at Amazon for $80 with shipping. During the winter months, you can get magnesium chloride from a hardware store for $25 for a 50lb bag. I bath in 6-7 pounds of magnesium chloride at a time, as often as I can. With the addition of Oxipor coal tar lotion, you have an important first step in getting aggressive psoriasis under control without resorting to steroids and the rest, which I've never found to work.

By my calculations, the product advertised here delivers magnesium for $57.78 a pound if the salt comes from the Dead Sea's surrounding mineral mud. If they're using salt taken directly from the lake (less likely), the price is $8.67 per pound. Magnesium chloride rock salt is $1.40 a pound if shipped by freight and $.66 a pound from your local hardware store during the winter months. Interestingly, the same companies provide both the retail and the hardware store versions of magnesium chloride.

(More customer reviews)I love this product so much in many ways.First, it WORKS!The company says to give it 4 weeks, but in as little as 1 there was a noticable difference in my two brown patches (on the driver's window-side--sunblock, sunblock, sunblock!).Also, I have super-sensitive skin which can't decide if it's dry or oily or just going to be both with the beginnings of wrinkles, but this product didn't clog pores or feel gooey, and it didn't dry me out or make me red.In fact, it feels like nothing on, and you can follow up with whatever other products you want for moisture or sun protection or make-up without feeling heavy and layered.
BUT: the pump is kind of iffy, and even using a very conservative amount (2 pumps a.m., 2 p.m.)I couldn't pump out any more product after 2 1/2 weeks.I pried the thing open and got another week's worth out.But for this amount of money, you really should be able to get the whole 4 weeks' worth out of one bottle, so you can get the full results.It really is only fair, since I for one think it's an amazing product, and would be inclined to get another bottle and continue using it into the future (past those 4 weeks), except that the fact that there's so little (and it's hard to get it out) leaves me cold.

Actually, in the past year I've decided to stop buying/using after-shave lotions, even those that mate with colognes I use, simply because virtually everything I wear has either a strong citrus base, or component, and WH/Lemon goes with all of it as well or even better than the after-shave does.Electric or blade, it somehow makes my face feel happy, afterward, like a good barbershop shave.Clarifies things, and saves money too.Can't beat it.

Besides, although you always want to look good and smell good, you want to avoid the impression of having been 'Styled.'

I don't HOPE that I don't break out anymore, with this, I KNOW I won't break out. I decided to give this a shot when I saw it due to it's claim to fade old acne spots. I was using an expensive Clinique product before but it was really expensive and I didn't see a lot of results. This product goes on clear and non sticky..I actually think it feels good! If you have a breakout, spot treat and it will be nearly, if not completely, gone overnight. With continued use I hardly break out EVER. I break out in the same areas all the time, so I use a pea sized amount every night in those areas and it's completely preventative. It's so affordable and a little lasts a long time. I really hope this product never stops being made, I honestly don't know what I would do without it! Give it a shot, I think you will love it!

WOW! I applied more to speed up the process so tommorow it will probably be COMPLETLEY GONE. So WOW..two days!I hope this product doesn't contain hydroquine becuz i hear bad thing about that ingredient.But I've read the ingredients and it says nothing about hydroquine but I se the popular ingredient KOJIC ACID..which is okay! At night I put a GOOD thick paste on the armpits to speed the process..don't use THIN layers.The more the better!
YAY..im happy..no more discolored armpits!!
